require quick speed and the ability to coordinate bodily parts to create

Fire: The third
palgwe form represents the energy of fire or the sun. This form should be
performed with warmth and enthusiasm. This form represents the characteristics
of fire such as variety and passion. The movements should be executed with
quick, rhythmic, unpredictable pace and styling.

Hyung Do San
�
Do-San is a pseudonym of the patriot Ahn Chang-Ho (1876 - 1938). The 24
movements represent his entire life which he devoted to furthering education in
Korea and the Korean independence movement. Ahn Chang-Ho opposed the use of
military force to seek independence. He was a major force in the Korean
Independence movement; he was particularly known for maintaining the Korean
educational system during occupation. He was among the first Koreans to emigrate
the US in 1903.

In
1907 he returned to his Korea to begin the Sinminhoe (New Peoples Society).
Sinminhoe sought independence through education, business, and culture. A year
later this organization founded Taesong School to provide Korean children with
education of Korean Nationalism.

At
the end of WWI To-San returned to America to pressure Wilson into speaking on
behalf of Korean Independence.
�
In
1919 To-San helped set up the Provisional Government in exile in Shanghai. They
drew up a Constitution providing for personal freedom and abolished the nobility
class.
�
On
March 1, 1919 the provisional government declared Korean Independence.
