poomse. Special attention must be paid to the foot position right after

Hyung Joong Gun
�
Joong-Gun is a famous Patriot of Korean Independence. Joong-Gun was
a well known educator, and established the school called Sam-Heung. After the
Protectorate Treaty was signed with Japan in 1905 Joong-Gun exiled himself to
Manchuria. He formed a group of 300 guerrillas.
�
These guerrillas raided the Korean boarder as acts of aggression
against Japan; these raids were followed by harsh reactions from the Japanese.
After these responses Joong-Gun decided to assassinate Hirobumi Ito, the first
governor General of Korea.
�
Following the assassination Joong-Gun was imprisoned at Port
Arthur. He was executed after 5 months of torture. In his cell was found
calligraphy that read "The Best Rivers and Mountains" implying his deep love for
his nation. There are 32 movements in this patter to represent Joong-Gun’s age
when he was executed at Lui-Shung in 1910.
