We are requesting officiating help from all of the Black Belts, so instructors who have not signed up please do so. This year we are allowing our parents and senior students to attend the coaching seminar so that they will be able to handle the coaching for the event. Please get the word out that the Coaches/Officials seminar is at 7:00pm at the Spanaway Lake High School.

After the rings have been setup there will be a "dry run through" on the evening of April 25th. Hopefully this will allow us to get all our volunteers trained on their specific jobs, allow officials to get used to their ring and other officials, check computer operations and allow all questions to be answered at that time. This should allow more help and support at setup, get setup faster and to assure smooth operation at the event. Instructors, please get the word out that we need all staff/volunteers to attend this walk through.

Instructors, please email Mr.Just (nwtkdlakewood@hotmail.com) your list of black belts/officials, coaches, and volunteers (even if already signed up) and let's make sure those not signed up get signed up online at our website (www.nwtaekwondofirst.org/volunteers%20for%20tournaments.htm) We need to have the registration forms collected so we can start making cards for pre-registered competitors. ( Encourage everyone to attend the tournament. It's once a year, make them feel welcome to attend and help. After the registration forms have been collected, please make sure that Mrs. Harkness gets them. She is the lead person for Registration this year. Mr. Moore who will be the lead person for coaching. Please email Mr. Moore (nwtkdlakewood@hotmail.com) your list of coaches to make sure he has enough coaching staff to assure that all competitors have someone to work with them at the event

Coaches and Officials who were not at the last seminar need to attend the next one see www.nwtaekwondofirst.org for more information.

We are looking for donations of breakfast items (bagels, donuts, bread etc) and lunch items (sandwiches, soups, salads, etc) to provide for our officials. Please email Mr. Just (nwtkdlakewood@hotmail.com) about any donations, the list of black belts/officials/volunteers so that we can have everything coordinated for the tournament.

Also, please remind everyone that there will be free massages available, so be sure to stop by and see our friends from Everest college (formerly Ashmead college) they will be on hand providing some stretching help and sports massages.

Again, please email Mr. Just (nwtkdlakewood@hotmail.com) and/or myself (nwtkd.assoc@comcast.net) of any donations we might have collected, your list of black belts/officials, coaches (even if already signed up) and volunteers (even if already signed up) ASAP so that we can get Coaches, Officials and Volunteers organized.
